The matchups.

Every few weeks two camps are drawn against each other for the same challenge and the same weigh-in. Opposite playbooks, identical scoreboard.

Mediterranean vs Keto

The evidence champion against the fast starter. One camp is built for the long season, the other is built for the first weigh-in. Whichever way the scales fall, this is the matchup that sets the tone.

Week 02
M.02

Plant-based vs Paleo

Two camps that agree on almost everything except animals. Both cut the ultra-processed, both cook from scratch, and both are certain the other one has it backwards.

Week 04
M.03

Fasting vs Calorie Count

When you eat against how much you eat. Same arithmetic underneath, completely different discipline on top, and the closest scoreboard of the season.

Week 06
M.04

DASH vs Mediterranean

The near-twins. Two whole-food patterns with the strongest research behind them, separated by salt, a little red meat and a lot of camp pride.

Week 08
M.05

Keto vs Calorie Count

Rules against maths. One camp bans a macro outright, the other bans nothing at all. By week ten the early lead means nothing and the habit means everything.

Week 10
M.06

The grand final

Every surviving camp, one last weigh-in, and the question the whole season has been building to: not which diet is best, but which one these people could actually keep.

Scoring+

How a matchup is scored

Both camps get the same brief, the same budget and the same amount of time. The weigh-in is measured as percentage of starting body weight, so a bigger contestant cannot buy an advantage and a smaller one is not punished for it.

About the temptation test

Yes, there is one, and it is handled carefully. Contestants are never pressured, never shamed for taking the food, and the segment is never sold to the brand being resisted. Anyone who does not want to take part sits it out with no penalty.
